Art for Recovery at UCSF

Among some of the most isolated people during the pandemic have been those with compromised immune systems. The cancer patients at University of San Francisco California are no different: many have been confined to their hospital rooms with very minimal contact with friends and family, and others, have been isolated to their homes, also unable to see loved ones.

Through the Art for Recovery Program at UCSF, we are continually donating cards to patients at the hospital, but with a twist! We left these cards blank (no water color), so that patients would be able to paint, draw, or write in any way they saw fit.
